SALEM, OR – The final piece 2K OLF had been waiting on before launching Season 36 is now in place, as Madden NFL 27's Week 1 rosters are live and the official Season 36 league has been created.
The updated roster set gives 2K OLF the foundation it needed to move forward with the new season after intentionally delaying league creation until Madden's Week 1 personnel updates were available.
Season 36 Has Been Created
With the Week 1 roster update in place, the official 2K OLF Season 36 league has now been created in Madden NFL 27.
The league was initially created in Preseason Week 1 rather than starting directly in regular-season Week 1. During testing, starting directly in Week 1 caused the CPU to make several unnecessary roster moves, while beginning in preseason resulted in significantly less CPU roster activity.
That allowed us to preserve the updated roster set as closely as possible before coaches begin joining their teams.
The New League Is Synced
The previous Season 36 test data was removed before the new league was synchronized to the 2K OLF website.
The new Season 36 data has now been synced, and initial checks of the league, teams and rosters are looking good.
This gives Coach Hub and the rest of the 2K OLF site a clean Season 36 data set to work from as the league prepares to move into the regular season.
Coach Hub Is Ready
Coach Hub is also ready for the start of Season 36.
Each coach will have access to a personalized team dashboard featuring upcoming games, team performance, recent results, Trade Block management, contracts, injuries, standings, team news and league activity.
BottomLine will remain visible throughout the site for logged-in Coach Hub members, rotating through scores, news, transactions, standings, statistical leaders and Breaking News alerts.
The systems are ready, and they are now connected to the real Season 36 league data.
Account Access Is Ready
Coach Hub account access is also in place for Season 36.
Public registration remains closed to avoid the bot registrations that have caused problems in the past. Instead, coaches will access the site through their approved league accounts.
A separate Coach Hub Access Guide is now available with instructions covering account access, passwords, team assignment, profile pictures, and what to do if assistance is needed.
Team assignments inside Coach Hub will become active as coaches officially join and take control of their teams in Madden.
What Happens Next
The next step is getting everyone into the league and determining when Season 36 will officially advance into regular-season Week 1.
Because the league was created in preseason to protect the roster setup, 2K OLF will advance out of preseason once the league is ready to begin.
