SALEM, OR — We've spent the offseason building something completely new for 2K Online Franchise: Coach Hub, a personalized home base for every coach in the league.
As the 2K OLF website has grown, so has the amount of information available to league members. Schedules, standings, stats, injuries, contracts, league news and other tools all have their own places on the site. Coach Hub was built to bring the things you use most into one personalized dashboard.
Once you're logged in, Coach Hub knows which team you control and builds the page around you. You'll be able to quickly see your next game, team overview, recent results, division standings, team leaders, injuries, contract information, league activity, headlines, advance information and more.
A Brand-New Trade Block
One of the biggest additions coming with Coach Hub is something we've never had on the site before: a fully integrated Trade Block.
Coaches will be able to manage their own Trade Block directly through the site and list players they're interested in moving. Coach Hub will also show Trade Block activity from around the league, giving everyone an easy way to see who may be available without having to dig through Discord messages or wonder whether a player is actually on the market.
The goal is to give trade discussions a more permanent home on the site and make it easier for coaches to see who is available around the league.
The Trade Block is also something we can continue building on in future versions of Coach Hub.
Why We Built It
The goal with Coach Hub is simple: make the league easier to follow and manage.
Instead of visiting several different pages to figure out what's happening with your team, Coach Hub gives you one place to start whenever you visit 2K OLF.
It also gives us a foundation for features that wouldn't make sense anywhere else on the site. Personalized tools, coach-specific information, league communication and other ideas can now all live in one place and continue growing over time.
When Can I Use It?
Coach Hub V1 is finished and ready to go.
We're planning to open access when Season 36 officially begins, rather than during the temporary preseason setup. That way, everyone's first experience with Coach Hub will be tied to the actual league we'll be playing, with the real schedules, standings, injuries, Trade Block activity and other season information in place.
Before launch, we'll post a full Coach Hub Breakdown showing everything included in V1 and explaining how the different sections work.
Then, once Season 36 begins, we'll post the access instructions and let everyone know when Coach Hub is officially live.
How Access Will Work
Coach Hub is tied to your 2K OLF account and your team assignment.
Once access opens, coaches will log in to the site and Coach Hub will automatically load the dashboard for the team they control.
We'll provide the full account and access instructions before launch, including what to do if you don't already have a 2K OLF account.
This Is V1
Coach Hub is launching with a lot already built into it, but we're calling this V1 for a reason.
This gives us a new foundation inside 2K Online Franchise that we can continue expanding with more tools and ideas in future updates.
For now, we're excited to finally show everyone what we've been working on.
