Philadelphia, PA - Bryce Young delivered an exceptionally efficient performance, throwing three touchdown passes as the Carolina Panthers defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 37-20 in Week 6 and remained unbeaten.

Carolina arrived in Philadelphia at 4-0 and left at 5-0 after pairing Young's precision with 170 rushing yards and perfect red-zone production. The Panthers scored touchdowns on all five of their trips inside the Philadelphia 20, while the Eagles finished their four red-zone possessions with two touchdowns and two field goals.

Young completed 14 of 17 passes for 192 yards and finished with a 153.3 passer rating. His longest completion covered 59 yards, and Carolina did not need a high volume of attempts to generate its passing production. John Metchie III, Tommy Tremble and Mitchell Evans each recorded a touchdown reception.

"The efficiency is what stands out to me," Young said. "We didn't waste many throws, and when we got into the red zone, we finished every opportunity with a touchdown. Five trips and five touchdowns is the kind of standard we want."

The Panthers complemented that passing performance with a two-back rushing attack. Chuba Hubbard carried 13 times for 88 yards and a touchdown, averaging nearly seven yards per attempt. Jonathon Brooks added 67 yards and a score on seven carries, with a long run of 19 yards.

Carolina finished with 355 offensive yards, including 185 passing yards and 170 rushing yards. That near-even split contrasted with an Eagles offense that produced 245 passing yards but only 68 on the ground. The Panthers finished with 102 more rushing yards than Philadelphia and 42 more offensive yards overall.

"Both of us were able to give the offense something," Hubbard said of the Carolina backfield. "When your carries are productive and the other back is producing too, you feel good about the work the group put in. Getting the win and staying unbeaten makes it even better."

Jalen Hurts completed 25 of 34 passes for 266 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, earning a 103.3 passer rating. Makai Lemon caught seven passes for 59 yards and both Philadelphia touchdowns. Saquon Barkley led the Eagles' running backs with 44 yards on 13 carries, while Hurts contributed 24 yards on eight attempts.

Philadelphia recorded 21 first downs, one fewer than Carolina, and converted all three of its fourth-down attempts. The Eagles were 4-for-10 on third down, compared with a 3-for-5 showing by the Panthers. Those possession-down totals accompanied solid passing production, but Philadelphia finished 17 points behind on the scoreboard.

"There were things we did well, but the result is what we have to own," Hurts said. "We moved the ball and had some production through the air. We have to be better about turning that work into touchdowns and protecting the football."

The defensive totals also favored Carolina. The Panthers recorded four sacks and one interception, while Philadelphia finished with one sack and no interceptions. Derrick Brown accounted for two of Carolina's sacks, giving the interior defender half of the team total.

"Four sacks is good production for the defense, and everybody had a hand in making the quarterback work," Brown said. "For me, getting two is something to build on. More than anything, we came here undefeated and made sure we left that way."

The victory gave Carolina another multi-dimensional offensive performance without requiring Young to throw frequently. The Panthers had 22 first downs, surpassed 350 offensive yards and finished every red-zone opportunity with a touchdown. Most importantly, Carolina remained unbeaten and improved from 4-0 to 5-0.
