Miami Gardens, FL - Caleb Williams threw three touchdown passes, D’Andre Swift topped 100 rushing yards and the Chicago Bears defeated the Miami Dolphins 33-27 in Week 14.

Chicago entered the matchup with the same 3-9 record as Miami, but the Bears left with their second consecutive victory. The Dolphins, meanwhile, absorbed their fifth straight defeat after arriving on a four-game losing streak.

The Bears finished with a pronounced statistical advantage on offense, producing 507 offensive yards and 24 first downs. Miami recorded 300 offensive yards and 13 first downs. Chicago’s total included 291 passing yards and 216 rushing yards, giving the Bears multiple sources of production in a six-point win.

Williams completed 26 of 47 passes for a game-high 291 yards. His three touchdowns went to three different receivers, and he finished with one interception and an 86.3 passer rating.

"I liked how many guys were involved and how much production we got from the whole offense," Williams said. "The interception is mine, and there are throws I want back, but scoring 33 and leaving with a win gives us something positive to build on."

The Bears complemented Williams with a deep rushing effort. Swift ran 13 times for a game-high 114 yards, including a 29-yard gain, while Chicago finished with 216 yards on the ground. Kyle Monangai added 64 yards on 16 carries, sharing the game high in rushing attempts.

"There was real balance in what we were able to produce," Swift said. "When the passing game and the backs are both putting up yards, everybody feels involved. We still have details to improve, but this is the kind of result we wanted."

Rome Odunze led all receivers with 91 yards. The touchdowns were spread among Luther Burden III, Colston Loveland and Kalif Raymond. Burden caught six passes for 73 yards, Loveland added four receptions for 63 yards and Raymond finished with five catches for 27 yards.

Chicago also posted strong conversion numbers. The Bears went 10-for-21 on third down and converted all three of their fourth-down attempts. They made six trips to the red zone, coming away with two touchdowns and two field goals on those possessions.

Miami remained within six points on the scoreboard even though its offense finished with 207 fewer yards. Malik Willis completed 14 of 31 passes for 176 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. He also rushed for 27 yards on five attempts.

Marvin Mims Jr was Willis’ leading receiver, catching four passes for 61 yards and two touchdowns. His 29-yard reception was the longest catch of the game. Daniel Bellinger supplied Miami’s other receiving touchdown and finished with 35 yards on two catches.

De’Von Achane carried 16 times for 83 yards, highlighted by the game’s longest run at 37 yards. Miami totaled 124 rushing yards, but its passing and rushing figures both finished below Chicago’s totals. The Dolphins also converted 3 of 12 third downs and one of their two fourth-down attempts.

"Three touchdown passes should give us a chance, but the two interceptions are difficult to get past," Willis said. "I have to be more consistent with the football. We had players producing, and we scored 27, but the result is still a loss."

The defenses generated pressure and takeaways on both sides. Chicago recorded three sacks and two interceptions, while Miami finished with four sacks and one interception. Kyler Gordon accounted for an interception, a 16-yard return and half a sack for the Bears.

For Chicago, the win paired Williams’ three-touchdown performance with Swift’s game-high rushing total and a 507-yard team output. The Bears improved to 4-9 after entering Week 14 with one victory already behind them. Miami fell to 3-10 as its losing streak reached five games.
