Glendale, AZ - Kyren Williams rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns, Matthew Stafford threw two scoring passes and the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Arizona Cardinals 38-24 in Week 10.
Los Angeles finished with 419 offensive yards, including 223 on the ground, while scoring touchdowns on each of its three red-zone trips. The Rams built an advantage, weathered stretches of pressure from Arizona and eventually created enough separation to secure their second consecutive victory.
Williams supplied the most productive rushing performance of the game, averaging more than eight yards per carry across 15 attempts. His longest run covered 41 yards, also the game's best, and his two touchdowns gave Los Angeles a reliable scoring presence from the backfield.
Blake Corum added 75 yards on 11 carries, giving the Rams two backs with significant production. Their combined work accounted for 203 of Los Angeles' 223 rushing yards and provided a strong complement to Stafford's passing.
"We stayed patient and kept taking what was there," Williams said. "Blake was productive, too, and when both of us are contributing like that, the offense has a lot it can work with. Finishing those red-zone opportunities was big for us."
Stafford completed 17 of 31 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns, finishing with a 95.6 passer rating. He did not overwhelm Arizona with volume, but Los Angeles produced both steady gains and an explosive receiving performance from Puka Nacua.
Nacua caught five passes for a game-high 110 yards and a touchdown. His 72-yard reception was the longest catch of the game and accounted for more than half of his receiving total. Jakob Johnson also caught a touchdown pass, turning his lone reception into a score despite finishing with no receiving yards.
"The run game was productive, Puka gave us a big-play element and we were clean with the football," Stafford said. "There are always throws you want back, but three trips inside the 20 and three touchdowns is the kind of finishing you want."
The Rams recorded 17 first downs and went 4-for-11 on third down. They also converted their only fourth-down attempt. Arizona, meanwhile, went 3-for-15 on third down and 1-for-2 on fourth down, leaving the Cardinals with fewer sustained opportunities despite reaching the red zone four times.
Arizona scored touchdowns on two of those four red-zone trips. The Cardinals finished with 286 offensive yards, including 168 through the air and 118 on the ground, as they tried to reduce the margin and keep pace with Los Angeles.
Jaxson Dart completed 17 of 39 passes for 168 yards and one touchdown, posting a 64.9 passer rating. His longest completion went for 25 yards, and he also added 20 rushing yards on four attempts. Los Angeles recorded two sacks, including one by Braden Fiske, and neither defense produced an interception.
"There were chances for us to sustain more offense, and I didn't connect often enough," Dart said. "That's the part I have to own. We got into the red zone, but we needed to come away with more when those opportunities were there."
Jeremiyah Love carried the Arizona offense for significant stretches, rushing 18 times for 89 yards and two touchdowns. He had the most carries in the game and broke a 39-yard run, accounting for most of the Cardinals' production on the ground.
Trey McBride caught Dart's touchdown pass and finished with three receptions for 26 yards. Michael Wilson led Arizona with 50 receiving yards on four catches, but the Cardinals did not have a receiver approach Nacua's production or match the Rams' ability to generate yardage in both phases.
The statistical contrast was clearest on the ground and in overall offense. Los Angeles outgained Arizona 223-118 in rushing yards and 419-286 in offensive yards. The Rams also recorded three more first downs and were perfect inside the Arizona 20, while the Cardinals finished two of four in the same category.
For Los Angeles, the 14-point win continued the momentum of a team that entered the week at 5-4 after a victory. Arizona came in at 3-6 on a two-game losing streak and left Glendale with another loss despite three combined touchdowns from Love and McBride.
