Inglewood, CA - Jordan Love threw for 345 yards and three touchdowns, Xavier McKinney intercepted two passes and the Green Bay Packers pulled away from the Los Angeles Rams for a 34-15 victory in Week 12.
Green Bay entered the matchup with the same 6-4 record and two-game winning streak as Los Angeles, but the Packers created separation as the game developed and finished with their third consecutive victory. The Rams produced occasional bursts through the passing game, particularly with Puka Nacua, but never matched Green Bay’s consistency across the full afternoon.
The Packers finished with 484 offensive yards, including 345 through the air and 139 on the ground. They accumulated 22 first downs compared with eight for the Rams and converted 6 of 12 third downs. Los Angeles totaled 280 offensive yards and went 4-for-14 on third down, though it converted each of its three fourth-down attempts.
Love was at the center of Green Bay’s production. He completed 28 of 37 passes without an interception and finished with a 131.0 passer rating. His longest completion covered 40 yards, and three different Packers receivers finished with at least 72 yards.
Christian Watson supplied the scoring punch with three receptions for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Jayden Reed led Green Bay with 95 receiving yards on six catches and scored the Packers’ other receiving touchdown, while Matthew Golden provided steady volume with eight receptions for 88 yards.
"The ball was coming out cleanly, and a lot of guys were involved," Love said. "We stayed patient, kept moving it and didn’t give them many chances to take the football away. That’s the kind of balance you want from the passing game."
Green Bay also had two productive options in the backfield. Josh Jacobs carried 15 times for a game-high 83 yards, including a 21-yard run, while Kaleb Johnson added 59 yards on nine attempts. Johnson recorded the game’s longest rush at 28 yards. Together, they accounted for 142 yards from scrimmage without requiring the Packers to lean entirely on one runner.
The red-zone numbers offered an unusual contrast to Green Bay’s overall offensive output. The Packers reached the red zone three times and came away with three field goals but no touchdowns on those possessions. Los Angeles also made three red-zone trips, recording one touchdown and no field goals.
Matthew Stafford completed 18 of 28 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns for the Rams, but he also threw both of Los Angeles’ interceptions. His 84.9 passer rating trailed Love’s mark, and the Rams finished with only 43 rushing yards.
Nacua remained the most productive player in the Los Angeles offense. He caught five passes for a game-high 135 yards and a touchdown, including the game’s longest reception at 64 yards. Davante Adams added five catches for 58 yards and the Rams’ other receiving touchdown.
"We had some explosive production, but the turnovers are on me," Stafford said. "We didn’t sustain enough, and 15 points isn’t going to be enough when the other team gets to 34. We have to be more consistent from one opportunity to the next."
The Rams’ limited rushing production sharpened the contrast between the offenses. Los Angeles ran for 43 yards, with Kyren Williams accounting for 36 on 15 carries. Green Bay finished with 96 more rushing yards and 204 more offensive yards overall.
McKinney delivered the headline performance for the Packers’ defense, recording both Green Bay interceptions and totaling 33 return yards. The Packers also registered two sacks, while Los Angeles finished with one sack and no takeaways.
"When the ball comes your way, you have to finish the play," McKinney said. "Getting two of them feels good, but the bigger thing is how we played together and stayed connected through the game."
Green Bay’s statistical advantages did not require a frantic finish. The Packers established an advantage, absorbed the Rams’ productive passing stretches and continued widening the margin. By the end, the 19-point difference reflected a game in which Green Bay generated far more first downs, offensive yards and rushing production while playing turnover-free football.
The victory moved the Packers beyond the matching 6-4 records that framed the matchup and extended their winning streak to three games. Los Angeles, which also arrived with consecutive victories, saw its run end as Stafford and the offense were held to eight first downs.
