Atlanta, GA - Bijan Robinson carried the Atlanta Falcons to the center of the Week 5 conversation with 147 rushing yards and two touchdowns in a 37-30 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

Robinson handled 27 carries and broke a 67-yard run as Atlanta finished with 201 rushing yards. Anthony Richardson Sr added 54 yards and a touchdown on four attempts, giving the Falcons two productive options on the ground in a game where their passing numbers were modest.

The result came with an unusual statistical profile. Baltimore finished with 403 offensive yards, 22 first downs and 307 passing yards, exceeding Atlanta's totals of 335 offensive yards, 14 first downs and 134 passing yards. The Falcons, however, more than doubled the Ravens' rushing output, finishing with 201 yards compared with Baltimore's 96.

Robinson accounted for nearly three-quarters of Atlanta's rushing yardage and supplied the offense's most productive individual performance.

"When you get that kind of workload, you want to keep giving the offense something positive," Robinson said. "I was trying to be decisive and finish every run. To come out of it with the win makes the work feel even better."

Richardson's production was far more effective on the ground than through the air. He completed 9 of 18 passes for 139 yards and was intercepted twice, finishing with a 36.3 passer rating. His longest completion covered 37 yards, while his longest run went for 31.

Jahan Dotson caught three passes for 54 yards, and Kyle Pitts Sr recorded a 33-yard reception on his only catch. Those contributions gave Atlanta some passing production around a rushing attack that generated most of the team's offensive yardage.

"I have to be better with the football," Richardson said. "The interceptions are on me. The running production was there for us, and Bijan had a big day, but at quarterback you still look first at the decisions you want back."

Baltimore produced the larger passing totals behind Lamar Jackson, who completed 29 of 39 attempts for 325 yards and two touchdowns. Jackson also threw two interceptions, leaving both defenses with a pair of takeaways through the air. He added 43 rushing yards on four carries, including a 22-yard run.

Rashod Bateman was Jackson's busiest target, catching nine passes for 94 yards and a touchdown. Derrick Henry contributed in both phases with 50 yards and a rushing touchdown on 12 carries, along with five receptions for 62 yards and another score. His 39-yard reception matched Jackson's longest completion of the game.

"We put up yards and got the ball to different people, but the final score is what stays with you," Jackson said. "I threw two interceptions, and that's something I have to own. There was production, but we needed a better overall result."

The Ravens reached the red zone six times, recording two touchdowns and two field goals on those trips. Atlanta made three red-zone visits and scored two touchdowns. Neither team separated itself significantly on third down: Baltimore went 5-for-12, while Atlanta finished 5-for-11. The Ravens also converted their only fourth-down attempt.

Turnovers were even, with each defense recording two interceptions. Atlanta also registered two sacks, compared with one for Baltimore. That left the seven-point final margin set against a box score in which the Ravens held the advantages in first downs, passing yards and offensive yards, while the Falcons owned the decisive statistical edge on the ground.

For Atlanta, the bottom line was a 37-point performance, a 147-yard outing from Robinson and a seven-point Week 5 victory at home. Baltimore left Atlanta with substantial offensive production but a 30-point total that was not enough to match the Falcons.

Up Next

The Atlanta Falcons will remain home to face the Chicago Bears in Week 6 as they look to build on the victory, while the Baltimore Ravens will travel to face the Cleveland Browns and try to rebound from the loss.
