Indianapolis, IN - The Indianapolis Colts controlled the statistical landscape, built a modest advantage and held off the Miami Dolphins 16-13 in Week 10, ending a three-game losing streak.

Kareem Hunt rushed for a game-high 116 yards on 23 carries, giving Indianapolis its first 100-yard performer during an afternoon in which the Colts amassed 417 offensive yards. Andy Dalton added 259 passing yards and a touchdown, while Alec Pierce led all receivers with 111 yards and a score.

The Colts entered the game after three consecutive losses, and their response was measured rather than explosive. Indianapolis moved the ball consistently enough to produce 25 first downs and protected a narrow advantage as Miami stayed within striking distance. The Dolphins made the final margin uncomfortable, but they never developed the same sustained offensive output as the home team.

"We needed to settle into the game and keep giving ourselves chances," Dalton said. "It wasn't perfect, but we were able to move the ball, and getting this result after the stretch we've had means a lot."

Dalton completed 25 of 46 passes and recorded a 78.0 passer rating. Pierce was his most productive target, catching eight passes and accounting for the game's longest reception at 26 yards. Keenan Allen added six catches for 66 yards, and Tyler Warren finished with five receptions for 48 yards.

That distribution complemented a busy afternoon for Hunt, who received the game's most rushing attempts. His 23 carries produced an average of just over five yards per attempt, with a long run of 18 yards. Indianapolis finished with 158 rushing yards overall.

"When you're getting that kind of workload, you want to stay patient and make every carry count," Hunt said. "There were yards available, and I wanted to keep giving the offense something steady."

The contrast between the offenses was substantial even though the scoreboard remained close. Indianapolis outgained Miami 417-228 and recorded 16 more first downs. The Colts converted 8 of 19 third downs, while the Dolphins finished 2 of 18.

Neither team turned its two red-zone trips into a touchdown. Each side came away with one field goal from those opportunities, a shared limitation that fit the low-scoring nature of the game. Both defenses also recorded two sacks and no interceptions.

Miami quarterback Kyle McCord completed 19 of 39 passes for 158 yards and a 59.5 passer rating. The Dolphins finished with 70 rushing yards, 57 of them from Jaydon Blue, who carried 16 times and scored a touchdown. Blue also had the game's longest run, a 26-yard gain.

Caleb Douglas led Miami's receiving group with four catches for 42 yards. No Dolphins receiver reached 50 yards, and the passing game finished with only 158 yards despite McCord attempting 39 throws.

"We didn't stay on the field enough," McCord said. "Two conversions on third down puts a lot of pressure on everything else. We have to be cleaner and give ourselves more opportunities."

The Dolphins remained competitive despite finishing with nine first downs and fewer than 230 offensive yards. Their push narrowed Indianapolis' earlier cushion, but the Colts continued to play from in front and emerged with the three-point victory.

For Indianapolis, the outcome mattered more than the uneven finishing around the red zone. The Colts received game-high performances from Dalton in passing, Hunt in rushing and Pierce in receiving, pairing those individual totals with a nearly 200-yard advantage in offense.

Most importantly, the result stopped a losing run that had reached three games. Indianapolis left Week 10 with a 16-13 victory and a chance to build from its most balanced collection of production in this matchup.

The Colts will travel to face the Houston Texans in Week 11 looking to follow up their streak-ending win, while the Dolphins head to Buffalo for a road matchup with the Buffalo Bills.
