Stage two of free agency is in the books. Some teams got exactly who they were going after, while others continue to battle it out in a bidding war.
It was a busy night for the three of the four NFC East teams– The Washington Redskins signed a total of six free agents, one of those signings included HB C.J. Spiller. Last season with the Buffalo Bills, Spiller had 404 rushing yards and one touchdown. The New York Giants also had a great round 2. They signed a total of six players, getting a much needed boost on defense with the signings of SS Duke Ihenacho and ex-Atlanta Falcons‘ LOLB Kroy Biermann. “We’re really excited about the players we got and can’t wait to get out on the field to prepare for the season.” said Giants head coach Jeff Jarin.
Last, but not least, are the Dallas Cowboys— The Cowboys signed ex-Tennesse Titans WR Greg Little to a reported 1 year deal.
