Kansas City, MO - Jaxson Dart threw two touchdown passes, Arizona produced 411 offensive yards and the Cardinals ended a three-game losing streak by defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 20-14 in Week 11.

Arizona established an advantage and protected it as Kansas City worked to narrow the margin. The Cardinals entered the game at 3-7 and in need of a change after three consecutive losses. Kansas City arrived with a four-game skid of its own, but the Chiefs could not end it despite remaining competitive throughout the afternoon.

Dart completed 27 of 39 passes for a game-high 253 yards, finishing with a 93.2 passer rating. He threw one interception, but Arizona consistently moved the ball through a balanced offense that added 158 rushing yards. The Cardinals finished with 16 first downs and held a 411-288 advantage in offensive yards.

Two of Dart’s touchdown passes went to Trey McBride and Kendrick Bourne. McBride served as Arizona’s most frequent target, catching 10 passes for 78 yards and a touchdown. Bourne added three receptions for 29 yards and a score, while Michael Wilson supplied a game-high-tying 80 receiving yards on seven catches. Wilson also recorded the game’s longest reception at 23 yards.

Arizona’s work inside the 20 was especially productive. The Cardinals scored on all four of their red-zone trips, coming away with two touchdowns and two field goals. That efficiency stood apart from an otherwise uneven third-down performance in which Arizona converted 3 of 12 attempts.

"We didn’t have to be perfect, but we needed to finish when we got into scoring range," Dart said. "We spread the ball around, stayed patient and came away with points on those trips. After the last few weeks, getting the result is the part that matters."

The running game gave Arizona another productive dimension. Jeremiyah Love recorded a game-high 90 yards on 11 carries, including the game’s longest run at 38 yards. Tyler Allgeier added 54 yards on only six attempts, helping the Cardinals more than double Kansas City’s rushing output.

"There were opportunities to get downhill and pick up yards, and we wanted to keep taking them," Love said. "The passing game was moving, too, so the offense had different ways to work. Finishing with a win after that losing streak feels good."

Kansas City stayed close but never generated the same overall production. Patrick Mahomes completed 24 of 43 passes for 231 yards and one touchdown, posting a 78.7 passer rating. Adonai Mitchell caught six passes for 59 yards and the Chiefs’ lone receiving touchdown, while DeMario Douglas matched Wilson for the game high with 80 receiving yards on six catches.

The Chiefs managed only 57 rushing yards. Kenneth Walker handled a game-high 12 carries but finished with 48 yards, including a 21-yard run. Kansas City recorded 14 first downs and converted 5 of 16 third downs along with 1 of 2 fourth-down attempts.

Most damaging was the lack of touchdown production in the red zone. Kansas City made two trips inside the 20 but finished with no touchdowns and one field goal from those opportunities. With the Cardinals maintaining their advantage, the Chiefs reduced the gap but could not erase it before the 20-14 final.

"Fourteen points isn’t enough, and we know that," Mahomes said. "We moved the ball at times, but when we got down into the red zone, we didn’t turn those opportunities into touchdowns. That’s frustrating, especially in a game decided by one score."

Arizona’s defense contributed four sacks without recording an interception. Kansas City’s defense finished with two sacks and intercepted Dart once, but the Cardinals still surpassed 400 offensive yards and completed each of their four red-zone possessions with points.

The outcome ended Arizona’s three-game slide and extended Kansas City’s losing streak to five games. For the Cardinals, the six-point road victory provided the turnaround they had been seeking entering Week 11.
