Santa Clara,CA — The San Francisco 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings struck a deal that will land Bridgewater in red and gold. Here are the details of the trade –
49ers send LG Laken Tomlinson and two 3rd round picks to the Vikings and in return the Vikings send QB Teddy Bridgewater and a 5th round pick to the 49ers.
Bridgewater hasn’t seen much action in the league since suffering one of the most gruesome injuries in recent memory, on a non-contact play during a Vikings practice. Bridgewater planted his foot wrong, which led to a torn ACL and dislocation of his left knee. The injury was so severe many thought he would lose his leg for good.
Bridgewater will look to lead the 49ers into playoff contenders after a massive roster turnover from previous seasons.
