Salem, OR — Good evening football fans and a happy Thursday to you. Today let’s take a look back at what many consider the G.O.A.T of sports video games, the one and only ESPN NFL 2K5.
It’s been 15 years since 2K5 came out and rocked the world of virtual sports with it’s innovative features, gameplay and presentation and of course it’s crazy price of $19.99! Which was great for gamers but pissed off the NFL as they felt insulted “How dare you mark down our premium brand!?” and unfortunately opened the door for EA to get the exclusive license on the NFL brand.
