Inglewood, CA - Matthew Stafford threw three touchdown passes, Kyren Williams scored twice on the ground and the Los Angeles Rams overwhelmed the Kansas City Chiefs 45-17 in Week 13.

Los Angeles established an advantage early and continued creating separation as the game unfolded. The Rams paired an efficient passing performance with 181 rushing yards, producing 431 offensive yards and 19 first downs while sending Kansas City to its seventh consecutive loss.

Stafford completed 22 of 34 passes for 250 yards and finished with a 116.0 passer rating. Davante Adams caught eight passes for 95 yards and two touchdowns, while Puka Nacua led all receivers with 112 yards on seven receptions and added another touchdown.

"We didn’t have to play the whole game one way," Stafford said. "The run game gave us balance, and our receivers kept giving us opportunities to move the ball. We stayed aggressive without trying to force everything."

The Rams’ ground game provided a stark contrast to Kansas City’s limited production. Williams handled a game-high 22 carries for 91 yards and two touchdowns. Blake Corum added 44 yards on seven attempts and scored once as Los Angeles finished with 180 more rushing yards than the Chiefs.

That balance remained visible as the Rams widened the margin. Los Angeles converted 6 of 13 third downs and reached the red zone five times, scoring three touchdowns and a field goal on those possessions. Stafford spread the passing production between Adams and Nacua, while Williams and Corum supplied three rushing scores.

"We were able to keep leaning on the run and stay productive," Williams said. "When everybody is contributing like that, you can feel the offense settling into a good rhythm. The important thing was continuing to finish our opportunities."

Kansas City generated nearly all of its offense through Patrick Mahomes, who completed 26 of 37 passes for a game-high 318 yards and one touchdown. His longest completion covered 80 yards, connecting with DeMario Douglas, who finished with four receptions for 99 yards and a touchdown.

Travis Kelce caught nine passes for 88 yards, but the Chiefs struggled to sustain their offense beyond the passing game. They finished with only 12 first downs, converted 1 of 9 third downs and failed on both fourth-down attempts. Two trips to the red zone produced no touchdowns and one field goal.

Kenneth Walker was limited to 1 yard on 14 carries, matching Kansas City’s team rushing total, although he scored the Chiefs’ lone rushing touchdown. With the ground game offering little room, Mahomes carried most of the offensive burden. His 318 passing yards accounted for all but one yard of Kansas City’s 319 offensive yards.

"There were some throws and some stretches where we moved it, but that isn’t enough," Mahomes said. "We didn’t finish enough possessions, and I have to do a better job taking care of the football. The yards don’t mean much when the scoreboard looks like that."

The Rams intercepted Mahomes twice and recorded three sacks. Byron Young accounted for two of those sacks, giving Los Angeles another productive element in a game that increasingly tilted toward the home team. Kansas City’s defense registered two sacks but did not record an interception.

For Los Angeles, the victory moved its record from 6-5 to 7-5 and provided a decisive response to the previous week’s loss. Kansas City fell to 4-8, with a six-game skid entering Week 13 growing to seven after the 28-point defeat.
