It was a hard fought game throughout like expected. As the stats show the game was pretty much neck and neck with the top tier defenses putting in work. The San Francisco 49ers looked to extend their dominance over the NFC West and take down the Seattle Seahawks for the 7th straight time, while the Seahawks looked to make a statement that a new era has begun in Seattle with the hiring of head coach Lewis Johnson and to prove they belong in the same class as the 49ers.
