W, 31-0 vs. DEN With that performance the Seahawks continue to show that there is only one thing on their mind: The Lombardi Trophy! I already called my bookie and put my money on the ‘Hawks to get it done for the second straight year.

Last week: 2
W, 28-20 vs. TB The Falcons survived a scare by the Bucs and remain in control of the NFC South. Harry Douglas came up big with 160 yards receiving, possibly earning a player of the week award.

W, 28-14 @ PHI RGIII continued his march towards a league MVP with an outstanding performance vs. divisonal rival Eagles throwing for four more touchdowns.

W, 17-14 @ ARI Clutch win over the weekend by the 49ers. It’s unbelievable that only a couple of years ago the NFC West was considered one of the more weaker divisions.

L, 17-14 vs. SF The Cardinals and 49ers don’t meet up again until week 17. Playoff seeding could be on the line.

W, 24-3 vs. BAL Could the Kansas City Royals and Cleveland Browns both make the playoffs in the same year? Is that even legal?

L, 28-14 vs. WAS The Eagles’ defense had no answer for RGIII or the Redskins as they gave up 400 yards of total offense. They need to tighten things up as they go up against the 49ers this week.

L, 28-20 @ ATL Despite the loss this Bucs team continues to impress. Mike Glennon had another impressive week throwing for close to 250 yards with zero interceptions.

Last week: 17
W, 17-3 vs. GB Now that’s the effort we’ve been wanting to see from the Lions’ defense, especially considering the fact that the Packers attack they defeated represented a far more formidable challenge than the offenses they faced in Week 1 ( Giants) or Week 2 ( Panthers).

W, 21-7 @ MIA The Chiefs must have used week one as another preseason game because they have looked much better in weeks 2 and 3. The test comes next week when they travel to take on New England.

W, 17-14 vs. PIT The Panthers once again rallied around their defense and did just enough offensively to pick up the win.

W, 17-10 vs. TEN Although they picked up the win I am not so sure this kind of success is sustainable with Jason Campbell as your starting quarterback.

L, 33-28 @ NYJ The evolution of the Bears’ strength of defense to offense is beginning to unfold before our eyes. Unfortunately for them their offense wasn’t enough.

L, 17-14 @ CAR Key turnovers cost the Steelers a chance at the win Sunday night. They face another NFC South team in the Bucs this week.

L, 31-0 @ SEA The Broncos were handed their second straight loss. Could this be a sign of things to come? Wait, what is that being erected in the distance. It looks like a…billboard. “Play T…” IT CAN’T BE!!!!!!!!!!

W, 15-7 vs. HOU Nice win, and all smiles afterward. Interesting to hear, in the post-game news conference, Eli Manning reference the “early ’90s rap” on Tom Coughlin’s iPad. I always thought Coughlin was a Rage guy.

L, 24-14 @ STL Did you know that I threw for 56 yards less than Tony Romo this week? 56!!! Get out of the bathroom Jerry and find a suitable quarterback for your team.

L, 17-3 @ DET I’m just as shocked as you seeing the Packers this low. But after they were vanquished in Detroit, it’s hard to know what to do with this team. Aaron Rodgers is indeed a fantastic player, but he produced little on Sunday.

W, 21-3 vs. MIN Ah, ain’t it good to have a nice, warm bowl of gumbo after a win? There’s a Cajun place in Hermosa Beach that serves up New Orleans food, and I thought about the transplanted Saints fans who might’ve sauntered in for some shrimp creole to celebrate the team’s return to relevance Sunday.

W, 10-0 @ JAX The Colts finally picked up their first win of the season, but it was against Jacksonville…does it really count?

L, 15-7 @ NYG After passing on Johnny Manziel, rumors have it that the Texans are trying to appeal to the NCAA to allow Texas A+M’s Kenny Hill to come play quarterback for them.

L, 17-10 @ CIN After a promising offseason and Week 1 win in Kansas City, Tennessee has certainly taken a step (or two) back. Over the past two weeks, the Titans fell to the Cowboys and Bengals. I wouldn’t go so far as to say coach Ken Whisenhunt looked defeated in his postgame presser, but it wasn’t hard to see a guy who was pretty frustrated with his team.

L, 28-9 @ NE The Oakland A’s are two games up on the Seattle Mariners for the last wildcard spot in the American league. Sorry Raider fans, it’s going to be a long year. Enjoy your baseball while you can.
