Las Vegas, NV - Seattle brings an 8-1 record and the league's top-ranked passing offense to Allegiant Stadium for a matchup with a 6-3 Las Vegas team confronting one of its most demanding defensive assignments of the season. The Seahawks average 278.7 passing yards per game and 400.7 total yards, while the Raiders enter Week 10 ranked 19th against the pass and 24th in total defense.

Both teams arrive after victories. Seattle defeated the Cardinals in Week 9 and has won four of its last five games, with its only loss during that stretch coming against the Bears. Las Vegas won on the road against the 49ers last week and is 3-2 over its past five, adding another quality record to a matchup between teams that have combined for 14 wins.

The central test for Las Vegas will be containing Sam Darnold and a Seattle passing game averaging a league-leading 278.7 yards. Darnold has completed 182 of 274 attempts for 2,342 yards, 14 touchdowns and four interceptions. His production has helped the Seahawks rank fifth in total offense at 400.7 yards per game and seventh in scoring at 29.9 points per game.

Cooper Kupp gives that passing attack a productive receiving option, entering the game with 55 catches for 874 yards and four touchdowns. Seattle can also turn to Zach Charbonnet, who has gained 553 yards and scored eight touchdowns on 104 rushing attempts. That balance will challenge a Raiders defense allowing 133.9 rushing yards per game, which ranks 22nd, in addition to its No. 19 ranking against the pass.

Las Vegas has produced a different offensive profile. The Raiders rank seventh in rushing offense at 143.9 yards per game but 17th through the air at 222.8. Ashton Jeanty has rushed 75 times for 511 yards and one touchdown, while Fernando Mendoza has completed 135 of 210 passes for 1,542 yards, 11 touchdowns and five interceptions. Jack Bech has contributed 43 receptions for 575 yards and four scores.

That offense will face a Seattle defense ranked second in scoring, allowing 19.4 points per game. The Seahawks are eighth against the run at 101.4 yards allowed per game, setting up a significant contrast with the Raiders' seventh-ranked rushing attack. Seattle has been less restrictive through the air, ranking 22nd with 230.6 passing yards allowed per game, but Las Vegas enters ranked 19th in scoring at 24 points per game.

The Raiders' extensive injury report adds uncertainty on both sides of the ball. Mendoza is dealing with a dislocated elbow, Jeanty is listed with broken ribs and Bech appears with a pulled groin. Their availability has not been established. Maxx Crosby is also listed with broken ribs, while offensive tackle Kolton Miller is dealing with a foot fracture. Seattle has no players listed on its injury report.

The matchup also offers a historical reference point, though it came two seasons ago. Seattle defeated Las Vegas 34-25 in Week 6 of Season 34. Darnold completed 14 of 21 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown in that game, while Jeanty rushed 17 times for 127 yards and two touchdowns. Those performances belong to the previous meeting, but they give two prominent figures in this matchup experience against the opposing franchise.

For Seattle, the task is to translate its top-ranked passing production to the road while preventing the Raiders' ground game from controlling the matchup. Las Vegas must find ways to limit Darnold and Kupp while testing a Seattle defense that has held opponents to 19.4 points per game. How the Raiders navigate their injury questions and defend Seattle's passing attack could shape the night at Allegiant Stadium.
