Minneapolis, MN - Bijan Robinson rushed for 337 yards and four touchdowns, giving the Atlanta Falcons a historic-looking number without the need for any historical comparison, and Atlanta defeated the Minnesota Vikings 62-55 in Week 12. The win extended the Falcons' streak to four games while handing the Vikings their fifth consecutive loss.
Robinson carried 22 times and averaged more than 15 yards per attempt, with a 65-yard run that ranked as the longest rush of the game. His production drove an Atlanta ground attack that finished with 357 yards, part of a 614-yard offensive performance.
"Once you get into a rhythm, you want to keep being aggressive every time you touch it," Robinson said. "The lanes were there, and my job was to hit them and finish the run. Putting up that kind of production is great, but getting the win is what makes it feel right."
Atlanta also received an efficient performance from Anthony Richardson Sr, who completed 16 of 20 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns. Richardson finished with a 137.5 passer rating, averaging more than 13 yards per attempt despite throwing one interception. That balance gave the Falcons elite production in both major offensive phases without requiring a high volume of passes.
Kyle Pitts Sr led Atlanta's receivers with six catches for 132 yards and a touchdown, including a 39-yard reception. Jahan Dotson added three catches for 43 yards and scored twice. Between Robinson's four rushing touchdowns and Richardson's three scoring passes, the Falcons repeatedly reached the end zone while generating 21 first downs.
"We were efficient with the opportunities we had," Richardson said. "Bijan was producing at an incredible level, and the passing game had room to work too. I'd like to have the interception back, but we stayed productive and finished with the result we wanted."
Minnesota countered with even more total offense, finishing with 648 offensive yards and 35 first downs. Kyler Murray produced the game-high passing total with 454 yards, completing 25 of 40 attempts with two touchdowns. His 42-yard completion was the longest of the game, but the Vikings quarterback also threw four interceptions and finished with a 78.5 passer rating.
The Vikings distributed the ball across several productive targets. Justin Jefferson recorded the game-high receiving total with 163 yards and two touchdowns on seven catches, while Jordan Addison caught seven passes for 130 yards. Josh Oliver added seven receptions for 89 yards, giving Murray three receivers with at least seven catches.
"There were a lot of yards and a lot of things we can build on, but four interceptions are too many," Murray said. "When you score 55 points, you expect to feel better walking away. The production was there; the result wasn't."
Jordan Mason supplied Minnesota's ground production with 177 yards and four touchdowns on 23 carries, the most rushing attempts in the game. He also broke a 54-yard run. Jefferson contributed another 24 rushing yards as the Vikings totaled 221 on the ground, leaving Minnesota with substantial production through both the air and the running game.
The sharpest separation between the teams appeared in the interception totals. Atlanta's defense picked off Murray four times, while Minnesota intercepted Richardson once. James Pearce Jr contributed across the Atlanta defense with two sacks and an interception, returning the pick 10 yards. The Falcons finished with three sacks overall, compared with two for the Vikings.
"When the ball comes your way, you have to finish the play," Pearce said. "We know there are things to clean up when the other team puts up that many yards and points. At the same time, creating four interceptions is something we can take forward."
Minnesota converted 4 of 9 third downs and its only fourth-down attempt, while Atlanta went 1-for-5 on third down. The Vikings also finished with 34 more offensive yards and 14 more first downs, but the Falcons left Minneapolis with the seven-point victory.
Atlanta improved to 8-3 after entering the week at 7-3 and riding a three-game winning streak. Minnesota fell to 3-8, with its four-game skid entering Week 12 now extended to five.
