Marcel Reece celebrates his game winning touchdown late in the game.

Oakland, CA — With just over two minutes left in the game, the Denver Broncos were winning 21-10. Things looked good for Denver until the Marcel Reece show began. Reece scored two touchdowns and a two point conversion to complete on of the greatest comebacks in Oakland Raiders history.

Winning 21-18 with 1:06 left in the game, the Broncos on 4th and 6 elected to bring out their kicker Brandon McManus to try and kick a 46 yard field goal. The snap was good, the hold was good, but the field goal would fall way short of the mark setting up the Raiders on their own 46 yard line.

On the very first play, Raiders QB Derek Carr out of the shot gun formation threw a pass to WR Marcel Reece who was cutting across the field. Reece looked like the was heading towards the sidelines and out of bounds but thanks to a block by HB Latavius Murray, Reece was able to escape two tackles and run it 50 yards for a touchdown. The play took just 10 seconds off the clock and when you’re playing against Peyton Manning, everyone knows 49 seconds is more than enough time for him to execute a comeback.

The Broncos began their final drive from the 21 yard line, on 1st and 10 Manning threw it up the side of the field to WR Cody Latimer. Latimer made a spectacular two handed sideline catch at the 49 yard line, then on the very next play Latimer once again made another great sideline catch, this time at the Raiders 35 yard line. Unfortunately for the Broncos those would be the only two passes Manning would complete. He was sacked back to back, which put the Broncos back at the 49 yard line. Manning’s passes on 3rd and 4th down were incomplete, which completed the Raiders comeback win.
