Landover, MD - Samaje Perine scored two rushing touchdowns, Ja’Marr Chase finished with a game-high 121 receiving yards and the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Washington Commanders 27-17 in Week 11.

Cincinnati built an advantage, weathered stretches of pressure from Washington and maintained enough separation to leave Landover with a 10-point victory. The Bengals entered the game at 6-3 and finished with 369 offensive yards, creating a balanced statistical profile with 242 through the air and 127 on the ground.

Joe Burrow completed 22 of 33 passes for a game-high 242 yards. He did not throw an interception, posted an 88.1 passer rating and repeatedly worked through Chase, who caught eight passes. Chase’s 121 yards nearly matched the rest of Cincinnati’s passing output combined and included the game’s longest reception at 25 yards.

"We stayed patient and kept taking what was there," Burrow said. "Ja’Marr was giving us dependable production, and the rest of the offense stayed involved. We didn’t need to force the ball into bad situations."

The Bengals also leaned on a two-man backfield. Chase Brown handled a game-high 16 rushing attempts and gained 53 yards, while Perine provided 48 yards on eight carries. Perine’s two touchdowns gave Cincinnati its most prominent scoring performance, and his 30-yard run was the longest by a Bengals player.

"The opportunities were there, and I wanted to finish them," Perine said. "Chase carried a lot of the workload, so when my touches came, the job was to give the offense something with them. Getting into the end zone twice feels good, but winning is what matters."

Cincinnati moved the chains 18 times and converted seven of its 12 third downs. The Bengals also went 1-for-1 on fourth down and scored touchdowns on two of their three red-zone trips. Those figures accompanied a broad game shape in which Cincinnati created breathing room and Washington continued trying to reduce the margin rather than letting the contest get away completely.

The Commanders, who entered at 4-5, totaled 269 offensive yards and 14 first downs. Desmond Ridder completed 20 of 35 passes for 175 yards and a touchdown, finishing with an 80.0 passer rating and no interceptions. Washington converted six of 15 third downs and its lone fourth-down attempt.

Rachaad White recorded the game’s highest rushing total with 58 yards on nine carries. His 44-yard run was the longest rush of the afternoon, though Cincinnati held Washington to 94 rushing yards overall. Kaytron Allen added 19 yards on eight attempts and scored a rushing touchdown.

Ridder’s passing touchdown went to Antonio Williams, who caught five passes for 42 yards. Chigoziem Okonkwo led Washington with 55 receiving yards on six catches, giving Ridder a reliable option underneath as the Commanders worked to remain competitive.

"We had stretches where we were moving it, but 17 points wasn’t enough today," Ridder said. "We protected the ball, and we were good when we reached the red zone. There are still possessions where we have to get more out of what we’re doing."

Washington scored touchdowns on both of its red-zone trips, matching Cincinnati’s touchdown total inside the 20 despite having one fewer opportunity. The Commanders also recorded two sacks without an interception. Cincinnati’s defense produced the same totals: two sacks and no interceptions.

The absence of turnovers placed greater emphasis on sustained offensive production, and Cincinnati held the advantage in that area. The Bengals finished with 100 more offensive yards, seven more first downs and 67 more passing yards. Washington generated enough scoring to apply pressure, but Cincinnati protected its broader advantage and completed the 27-17 result.

"There were different ways we had to keep working," Chase said. "Some catches moved us forward, some gave us room, and I just tried to be available for Joe. When the ball came my way, I wanted to make sure the possession kept going."

For Cincinnati, the result followed a statistical formula built around Burrow’s efficient passing, Chase’s game-high receiving production and Perine’s two touchdowns. The Bengals arrived with six wins in nine games and added another by outgaining Washington 369-269.
