On the very next play, Redskins QB Robert Griffin III snapped the ball, looked around for an open receiver, dropped back into the end zone where he was pressured and just as he tried to escape the pressure he was sacked for a safety by Patriots DT Vince Wilfork.

Patriots QB Ben Roethlisberger played the best 3rd quarter of his career as a Patriot. Ben Roethlisberger had zero interceptions, completed 23 of 29 passe, ran for 16 yards on 5 attempts and finished the night with 266 yards passing.
