Oakland’s Matt McGloin is pumped up after throwing his second touchdown of the game.

PITTSBURGH, PA — It took five seasons, but the Oakland Raiders have finally gotten past the divisional round. The win was impressive as Oakland took on the best team in the AFC North, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

On 4th and goal, from the 7 yard line, the Steelers were unable to get into the endzone — a touchdown would have brought the Steelers within one score with 4:09 remaining. The Steelers got the ball back after forcing the Raiders to a three and out. However, on the second play of their drive QB Ben Roethlisberger was picked off for a second time. With just over 2 minutes remaining, the Steelers had two time outs and the two minute warning. They once again forced a three and out, but like before Roethlisberger was intercepted, this time inside their own 9 yard line. With 1:40 left in the game, the Raiders ran out the clock and celebrated their first divisional round win in team history.
