Inglewood, CA - Kyren Williams scored three rushing touchdowns and Matthew Stafford completed all but one of his passes as the Los Angeles Rams overwhelmed the Buffalo Bills 45-10 in Week 5.

The score was lopsided even though the overall yardage was not. Los Angeles finished with 327 offensive yards, only four more than Buffalo, but the Rams paired their production with a 6-for-8 performance on third down, seven trips to the red zone and a defense that recorded five sacks and two interceptions.

Williams supplied the biggest individual performance. The Rams running back carried 23 times for 145 yards, averaging more than six yards per attempt, and scored three touchdowns. His longest run covered 36 yards. He also caught three passes for 42 yards, including a 43-yard reception.

"I wanted to be productive every time I got the ball," Williams said. "Whether it was a carry or a catch, the goal was to keep giving the offense something positive. To finish with three touchdowns and get a result like this feels good."

Stafford was nearly flawless through the air, completing 16 of 17 passes for 186 yards and a 112.2 passer rating. His longest completion went for 43 yards. Tutu Atwell caught five passes for 50 yards, while Puka Nacua added three receptions for 49 yards. Williams gave the passing game another productive option out of the backfield.

"The completion percentage stands out, but for me it was about being accurate and giving our guys chances to finish," Stafford said. "We had production from different spots, and Kyren gave us a lot both running and receiving."

The Rams finished with 147 rushing yards and 180 passing yards. Blake Corum added a rushing touchdown on his lone carry, giving Los Angeles four rushing scores between him and Williams.

Situationally, the teams produced one of the clearest contrasts in the game. Los Angeles converted six of eight third downs, while Buffalo went 5-for-12. The Rams reached the red zone seven times and finished with three touchdowns and a field goal on those opportunities. Buffalo made four red-zone trips, coming away with one touchdown and one field goal.

The Los Angeles defense added five sacks and intercepted Josh Allen twice. Buffalo recorded one sack and did not produce an interception.

Allen completed 14 of 29 passes for 178 yards, with the two interceptions contributing to a 39.1 passer rating. His longest completion covered 39 yards. The difficult passing line stood in sharp contrast to Stafford's efficient 16-for-17 outing.

"Two interceptions and 10 points aren't going to leave us feeling good about anything," Allen said. "We moved the ball in stretches and put up some yards, but the result is the result. I have to be more consistent with my opportunities."

Buffalo did find production on the ground. James Cook III rushed 15 times for 81 yards and scored the Bills' only rushing touchdown. He also caught four passes for 44 yards, giving him 125 yards from scrimmage. The Bills finished with 146 rushing yards, just one fewer than the Rams.

The receiving totals were spread across several Buffalo targets. Keon Coleman caught three passes for 60 yards, including the Bills' longest reception of 39 yards, while Dalton Kincaid finished with four catches for 43 yards. Buffalo recorded 21 first downs compared with 16 for Los Angeles and held a 177-180 deficit in passing yards.

Those narrow statistical margins made the final score especially striking. Los Angeles won by 35 points despite the teams being separated by four offensive yards and one rushing yard. The Rams' third-down rate, red-zone totals and defensive production provided the defining contrasts on the final stat sheet.

For Buffalo, the loss extended the most pressing storyline of its season. The Bills entered the week searching for their first victory at 0-4 and left Inglewood at 0-5. Los Angeles, meanwhile, followed its Week 4 win with its most decisive result of the season context provided.
