Steelers quarterback Colin Kaepernick had a great game, although he threw 3 interceptions he more then made up for it by throwing 3 touchdowns, rushed for 2 touchdowns, had 12 yards rushing on 4 attempts, completed 10 of 19 passes and finished with 257 yards passing.
Key Stat
The Steelers defense and Colin Kaepernick’s play was too much for the Jets to handle. The Jets scored only one touchdown on a throw by Tim Tebow to WR Santonio Holmes and the other 6 points by Jets came from kicker Connor Barth on 2 field goals.
Noteworthy
This was the second meeting between the Bears and Redskins this season, the Bears won the first meeting at home back in week 3 by a final of 13-28
The Redskins are the first NFC team to win back to back wild card games.
