Jeanty’s 152-yard day headlines Raiders’ 34-29 win over Browns

Cleveland, OH - Ashton Jeanty rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown, and the Las Vegas Raiders generated 430 offensive yards in a 34-29 victory over the Cleveland Browns in Week 12.

Jeanty gave Las Vegas the game's most productive rushing performance, carrying 19 times while averaging 8 yards per attempt. The Raiders finished with 187 rushing yards, compared with 101 for Cleveland, and recorded 20 first downs to the Browns' 13.

That production helped define a Las Vegas offense that finished with nearly identical passing and rushing totals. The Raiders gained 243 yards through the air and held an 85-yard advantage in overall offense despite committing three turnovers.

"I wanted to be efficient every time I touched the ball," Jeanty said. "Getting over 150 yards tells you we were consistent in the running game. There are still things we can clean up, but it feels good to leave with the win."

Fernando Mendoza completed 21 of 39 passes for 243 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. His longest completion covered 41 yards, matching Jalen Nailor's game-long reception. Nailor led the Raiders with 77 receiving yards on five catches and scored one of the team's three receiving touchdowns.

Jack Bech and Brock Bowers also reached the end zone as receivers. Bech caught three passes for 26 yards, while Bowers finished with two receptions for 25 yards. Together with Nailor, they accounted for Mendoza's three touchdown passes.

The interceptions were a significant blemish on Mendoza's 66.5 passer rating, but Las Vegas still finished with 34 points and a seven-first-down advantage.

"Three interceptions are not acceptable, and I own that," Mendoza said. "At the same time, we had a lot of guys contribute and finished with more than 400 yards of offense. The result is what we wanted, even if the execution wasn't as clean as it needs to be."

Cleveland's passing total was one yard better than Las Vegas'. Tua Tagovailoa went 21 of 38 for a game-high 244 yards and one touchdown, finishing with an 83.6 passer rating. He did not throw an interception, but the Browns were limited to 345 offensive yards.

Quinshon Judkins supplied 82 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. His 27-yard run was the longest rushing gain by either team. Cleveland's receiving production was spread across several targets, with Jerry Jeudy posting a team-high 72 yards on five catches. KC Concepcion Jr caught six passes for 68 yards and the Browns' lone receiving touchdown.

"The yardage between the quarterbacks was almost even, but we didn't finish with the result," Tagovailoa said. "We converted six third downs and took care of the football through the air. None of that changes the fact that we came up five points short."

The efficiency numbers offered contrasts beyond the yardage totals. Cleveland converted 6 of 16 third downs, while Las Vegas went 3 of 11. The Raiders converted their only fourth-down attempt; the Browns were 0 for 1.

Both teams made five trips to the red zone. Cleveland recorded two touchdowns and three field goals on those possessions. Las Vegas came away with one touchdown and one field goal from its five red-zone trips, with much of the Raiders' scoring production coming from outside that area.

The defenses made their marks in different categories. Cleveland did not record a sack but intercepted Mendoza three times. Las Vegas finished without an interception and registered four sacks, including 1.5 from Nakobe Dean.

For Cleveland, the loss extended a skid that stood at three games entering Week 12. The Browns produced 29 points and received turnover production from their defense, but their losing streak reached four. Las Vegas, meanwhile, followed up its previous victory with another result in the win column.
