Indianapolis, IN — The Indianapolis Colts have been hard at work reshaping their roster for the challenges of Week 2 of the 2K Online Franchise League, and they’ve made significant moves that promise to bolster their defense. In a statement today, the team announced the signings of middle linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski and young defensive back Kelvin Joseph.

Colts head coach Max Farias expressed his enthusiasm about these two acquisitions, stating, “We are thrilled to have Nick and Kelvin joining the team. They both bring valuable skillsets that we believe will have an immediate impact on our squad.”


Nick Kwiatkoski, known for his versatility, will be primarily utilized in pass coverage situations, adding depth to the Colts’ defense. Coach Farias praised his ability to read plays and make critical stops, emphasizing how Kwiatkoski’s experience will be an asset.

Additionally, Kelvin Joseph, a promising defensive back with major upside, is set to become a vital part of the Colts’ future. In terms of contracts, Nick Kwiatkoski signed a one-year deal valued at $2.05 million, underlining the team’s commitment to his role within the defense. Kelvin Joseph’s one-year contract is valued at $1.45 million, reflecting their belief in his potential.

To make space for these additions on the active roster, the Colts made some necessary adjustments. Defensive back Darrell Baker Jr. and linebacker Jojo Domann were demoted to the practice squad, allowing them to continue their development while providing the Colts with the flexibility they need. In addition, offensive lineman Josh Sills and free safety Trevor Denbow were released from the Colts’ practice squad as the team fine-tunes its roster for the upcoming challenges.
