Cam Ward throws 3 TDs as Tennessee Titans top Baltimore Ravens 48-35 in Week 4

Baltimore, MD - Cam Ward threw three touchdown passes, Wan’Dale Robinson delivered 137 receiving yards and the Tennessee Titans emerged from a high-scoring afternoon with a 48-35 Week 4 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

Tennessee established an advantage and created separation as the game developed into an exchange of big offensive moments. Baltimore continued to produce points and narrowed the margin along the way, but the Titans maintained the upper hand and finished with their highest total of the matchup.

Ward completed 15 of 28 passes for 242 yards and finished with a 118.4 passer rating. His production came with only 15 completions, reflecting a passing attack that did not require a high volume of catches to generate substantial yardage. His longest completion covered 94 yards.

Robinson was the central figure in that downfield production. He caught five passes for 137 yards and a touchdown, including a 94-yard reception. Zach Ertz supplied a different kind of scoring presence, turning two catches for 17 yards into two touchdowns. Together, Robinson and Ertz accounted for all three of Ward’s scoring passes.

"We were able to get the ball to guys who could finish possessions for us," Ward said. "There were some snaps I would like back, but when we had opportunities to be aggressive, we didn’t waste all of them. Putting up 48 on the road is something we can build from."

The Titans also finished with a productive split in the backfield. Tony Pollard rushed 12 times for 85 yards, averaging more than seven yards per attempt, while Tyjae Spears added 56 yards on seven carries and scored twice. Tennessee accumulated 166 rushing yards and 408 offensive yards overall.

That balance appeared in a game where the overall yardage totals were otherwise close. Baltimore recorded 396 offensive yards, only 12 fewer than Tennessee, and held slight advantages in passing yards and first downs. The Ravens threw for 261 yards to the Titans’ 242 and collected 16 first downs to Tennessee’s 15.

The red-zone totals offered another view of the teams’ scoring profiles. Tennessee made six trips inside the Baltimore 20, coming away with four touchdowns and a field goal. The Ravens reached the red zone four times and scored three touchdowns without a field goal.

"You want to make sure you’re finishing once the field gets short," Spears said. "We had several chances down there, and the points kept coming from different people. For me, it was about being ready for whatever opportunities were there."

Lamar Jackson kept Baltimore’s offense productive through the air and on the ground. He completed 27 of 38 passes for 261 yards and two touchdowns, finishing with a 96.4 passer rating. Jackson also rushed 11 times for 49 yards and a touchdown.

Ja’Kobi Lane was Baltimore’s leading receiver with seven catches for 124 yards and a touchdown. His performance included a 77-yard reception, the Ravens’ longest completion. Baltimore also received 63 rushing yards from Justice Hill, though Tennessee finished with a 31-yard advantage in team rushing production.

"Thirty-five points gives you a chance in a lot of games, but it wasn’t enough in this one," Jackson said. "We moved the ball and had production, but I also had the interception. That’s something I have to own when we look back at this game."

The defensive statistics presented a sharp contrast. Baltimore recorded four sacks but did not intercept Ward. Tennessee finished without a sack, while Amani Hooker intercepted Jackson and returned the ball 19 yards. Oluwafemi Oladejo also recorded two forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.

Neither team was consistently efficient on third down. Tennessee converted 3 of 10 attempts, while Baltimore went 4-for-13. The Ravens were more successful when extending possessions on fourth down, converting three of four attempts.

For all the production on both sides, Tennessee’s three-pronged scoring output stood at the center of the final picture: Ward threw three touchdowns, Spears ran for two and the Titans posted 48 points. Baltimore generated more first downs and passing yards, but the Titans left Baltimore with the 13-point Week 4 victory.
