LAS VEGAS, NV - The Buffalo Bills closed out the regular season in heart-pounding fashion, blocking a last-second field goal to escape with a 20-19 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 18.

Quarterback Josh Allen led the Bills with 118 passing yards and a touchdown, adding a one-yard rushing score late in the first half to give Buffalo momentum heading into the break. Allen finished 16 of 29 through the air with no turnovers and one sack.

Buffalo's ground attack gave the offense balance, with rookie Ray Davis rushing for 72 yards and a go-ahead two-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Rookie receiver Keon Coleman later delivered the game-winner, hauling in an 11-yard touchdown pass from Allen with just 12 seconds remaining. The Bills failed the two-point conversion but still took a narrow one-point lead.

Then came the drama.

Trailing 20-19, the Raiders got the ball back following a touchback. With just one timeout left, quarterback Trent Carney uncorked his longest pass of the game - a 37-yard strike from the Bills’ 30-yard line to tight end Brock Bowers. Bowers hauled in the pass and alertly stepped out of bounds at the Raiders' 33-yard line with 7 seconds left, stopping the clock and setting up a potential game-winning field goal.

With everything on the line, Coach Max Farias took his final timeout before the kick.

"I just wanted to give Daniel a little extra time to settle in," Farias said. "It's a tough angle, tough spot. I wanted him to feel it out before we rushed it."

Out came kicker Daniel Carlson for a 50-yard attempt. The snap was clean, the hold was good-but Dom Sullivan had other plans. Timing the snap perfectly, Sullivan burst off the edge and got his hand on the kick, sending the ball spinning short of the uprights.

Cole Bishop recovered the live ball for Buffalo, sealing the win and sending the Bills sideline into a frenzy.

For Las Vegas, Imani Younger was sensational in defeat, rushing for 74 yards and two touchdowns, including a 60-yard burst in the third quarter and a 14-yard score in the fourth. Daniel Carlson added three field goals, but his fourth attempt-arguably the biggest of the season-was denied.

With the win, the Bills finish the regular season at 12-5 and head into the playoffs with confidence. The Raiders fall to 14-3, stunned on their home field and left wondering what might have been.
