The Patriots flew away from Seattle with a 24-21 victory to continue their winning streak.
I had a quick interview with Coach Nguyen after the game and he had a few things to say…
“We’re really happy to walk away with a win against a really good team. Danny Woodhead made a 25 yard run early game to get us going. Special teams and former track&field star, Jeff Demps made a great return for a touchdown before the second quarter ended. And Tom Brady did what he does best and that’s rallying the team to score the game winning touchdown drive as time ticked down in the final minutes of the 4th quarter! However, there are obviously a lot of things that we still have to work on in order to improve.”
I also asked him about being the only undefeated team left in 2kolf and he said, “You know, it’s a nice thing for the fans out there. We’re going to try what Bill Belichick couldn’t accomplish during his (2007) tenure as head coach and that’s going 17-0. We’re bringing the Lombardi trophy back to Boston, baby!”
The Patriots (6-0) will now face the Jets (3-3) with Tim Tebow & Co.
