Philadelphia, PA - Jonathan Taylor rushed for 110 yards, Daniel Jones threw two touchdown passes and the Indianapolis Colts rolled past the Philadelphia Eagles 31-10 in Week 14.

Indianapolis entered the game at 4-8 and on a two-game losing streak, facing an Eagles team that had won two straight to reach 8-4. The Colts instead established an advantage and steadily created separation, turning a matchup between teams headed in opposite directions into a convincing road victory.

The final margin suggested dominance, but the overall yardage was nearly even. Indianapolis finished with 345 offensive yards, only six more than Philadelphia’s 339. The Eagles also had 15 first downs to the Colts’ 13 and converted 9 of 17 third downs, compared with Indianapolis’ 5-for-12 performance.

The Colts produced the sharper result on the scoreboard while leaning on a ground game that accumulated 212 yards. Taylor supplied the game-high total with 110 yards on 12 carries, including a 32-yard run. Kareem Hunt handled a game-high 13 rushing attempts, adding 81 yards and a touchdown.

"When you finish with that kind of rushing number, it means a lot of people were doing their jobs," Taylor said. "Kareem and I both stayed productive, and we were able to keep putting pressure on them throughout the game."

Philadelphia finished with 115 rushing yards. Indianapolis gradually widened the margin despite the Eagles generating more production through the air and recording five sacks.

Jones completed 11 of 19 passes for 133 yards and posted a 114.5 passer rating. His two touchdown passes went to Alec Pierce and Will Mallory. Pierce caught two passes for 24 yards, while Mallory had two receptions for 22 yards.

The Colts did not ask Jones to carry the offense through volume. He attempted 25 fewer passes than Jalen Hurts and avoided an interception even as Philadelphia’s pass rush reached him five times.

"We didn’t need to force things," Jones said. "The run game was productive, and when we had chances in the passing game, we wanted to be efficient and finish those opportunities."

The red-zone numbers offered another major contrast. Indianapolis made six trips inside the 20, scoring three touchdowns and one field goal. Philadelphia reached the red zone twice and came away with one touchdown and one field goal. The Eagles also failed on both of their fourth-down attempts.

Hurts threw for the game-high passing total, completing 22 of 44 attempts for 224 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Dallas Goedert was the game’s leading receiver with eight catches for 85 yards, including a game-long 25-yard reception. DeVonta Smith caught four passes for 37 yards and Philadelphia’s lone touchdown.

Those numbers gave the Eagles stretches of offensive movement, but they never developed enough scoring to match the separation Indianapolis created. Philadelphia finished with only 10 points despite holding the passing-yardage advantage and converting more than half of its third-down opportunities.

"Moving the ball isn’t enough by itself," Hurts said. "We scored 10 points, and that’s not the standard. We have to be better at turning those possessions into points and taking care of the football."

Indianapolis also received notable production from its defense. Cam Taylor-Britt intercepted Hurts, returned the ball 22 yards and finished with four pass deflections. Laiatu Latu forced one fumble and recovered two, giving the Colts additional defensive activity in a game they increasingly controlled on the scoreboard.

The Eagles’ five sacks stood out in a losing effort, but their defense did not record an interception. Indianapolis, meanwhile, completed the game with one sack and Taylor-Britt’s interception while holding Philadelphia to one touchdown.

For the Colts, the result ended a two-game losing streak with their most convincing element coming from a rushing attack that nearly doubled Philadelphia’s output. The Eagles saw their two-game winning streak end as Indianapolis left Philadelphia with a 21-point victory.
