ATLANTA, G.A. — The St. Louis Rams started the season in the worst way possible by losing their first four games of the season. However, in week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars they managed to squeeze out a win by sticking to the new system implemented by their new head coach Chuck Davis. Their believe in their new head coach and in his teachings led them to the best season in team history as they finished second in the NFC west with a record of 11-5, good enough for 6th place in the NFC.
The Atlanta Falcons missed the playoffs for the first time last season under head coach Chuck Davis. During the off season they went out and hired rookie head coach Matt Tafesse. Coach Tafesse did not disappoint, he brought back the Falcons to the top of their division with a record of 12-4 and locked up the 3rd seed in the NFC.
