Seattle, WA - Jadarian Price rushed for a game-high 104 yards and a touchdown, and the Seattle Seahawks extended their winning streak to four games with a 21-18 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13.
Seattle entered the game at 10-1 and riding a three-game winning streak, but Dallas produced several statistical advantages against one of the league's top teams. The Cowboys recorded 20 first downs to Seattle's 14, converted 7 of 13 third downs and finished both of their red-zone trips with touchdowns.
The Seahawks countered with 300 offensive yards, including 169 on the ground. Price carried 14 times and averaged more than seven yards per attempt, with a long run of 34 yards. Quarterback Jalen Milroe added 59 rushing yards on only four attempts, including the game's longest run at 38 yards.
"We had different guys giving us production, and I wanted to do my part every time I got the ball," Price said. "Getting over 100 is good, but the result is what you remember. We're leaving with another win."
Milroe was just as efficient through the air. He completed 11 of 14 passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns, finishing with a 144.3 passer rating. His 35-yard completion was the longest of the game, and Seattle did not throw an interception.
Nick Kallerup caught one pass, but it went for a game-long 35-yard reception and a touchdown. Rashid Shaheed also scored on his lone catch, a 20-yard reception. Cooper Kupp supplied the steadier volume, leading all receivers with 65 yards on seven catches.
Seattle's production came with an unusual set of team numbers. The Seahawks converted only 1 of 7 third downs and did not score on any of their three red-zone trips. Even so, Milroe finished with two touchdown passes and Price supplied another score on the ground.
"The attempts weren't high, so being accurate and taking care of the football mattered," Milroe said. "We got contributions from the backs and receivers, and we finished with 21 points against a defense that was getting pressure."
Dallas recorded five sacks and held Seattle to 131 team passing yards after sack yardage, but the Seahawks finished with 21 more offensive yards overall. Sam Darnold also completed both of his passes for 35 yards, including a 32-yard completion.
The Cowboys leaned on a more methodical offensive profile. Dak Prescott completed 24 of 32 passes for a game-high 155 yards and a touchdown, posting a 95.1 passer rating. Dallas finished with 132 team passing yards after sack yardage and added 147 rushing yards.
Javonte Williams handled a game-high 15 rushing attempts, gaining 69 yards with a long of 14. Malik Davis provided 42 yards on five carries, including an 18-yard run. Together, the Dallas rushing attack finished only 22 yards behind Seattle's total on the ground.
George Pickens led the Cowboys with six catches for 47 yards and scored Prescott's touchdown through the air. CeeDee Lamb added three receptions for 32 yards, including Dallas' longest completion at 20 yards.
"We moved the chains and finished our red-zone opportunities, but the scoreboard is the part that stays with you," Prescott said. "There are things we can take from the efficiency, but losing by three means every missed opportunity gets your attention."
Neither quarterback threw an interception. Seattle's defense recorded three sacks, while the Cowboys' five sacks were part of a defensive performance that limited the Seahawks to one third-down conversion. Dallas also converted its only fourth-down attempt.
The result left the Cowboys with a second consecutive loss after they entered Week 13 at 6-6. Seattle, meanwhile, followed its three-game run into the matchup with another victory, reaching four straight by surviving a game in which Dallas owned the advantages in first downs, third-down conversions and red-zone touchdowns.
Up Next
The Seahawks will remain home to face the New York Giants in Week 14, while the Cowboys will next travel to face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15 as they look to rebound from the loss.
