For the second time in four seasons the St. Louis Rams are win less in their first two games of the season after last week’s 42-48 loss on the road to the Atlanta Falcons. It was a tough loss for the Rams specially because it marked the return of coach Chuck Davis to the league and against the team he coached for three seasons.
“Yeah it was tough loss, but that’s how it goes. We’re focused now on the game coming up against a good team. Like us their going to be hungry to get that first win and we gotta be ready.” said coach Davis yesterday after his team’s practice.
On the other side of the field the Dallas Cowboys are looking to avoid their first ever 0-3 start. They had a heart breaking loss last week in over time against the Kansas City Chiefs. Although the Cowboys defense gave up only 10 points, they allowed the longest run by quarterback for a touchdown when Alex Smith took off for a 72 yard touchdown run and Tony Romo had the worst game of his career. Romo threw 6 interceptions, the last one proved to be the worst as it was taken back for the game winning touchdown in the final seconds of overtime.
