CLEVELAND, OH – History won’t be made this year as the Browns were able to come back in the second half and get a victory.
We we coughtbup with coach Scottie on how it get to get his first win as a coach, here’s what he said:
It feels great. I got a big cigar waiting for me, but I can’t enjoy it too much. We still have half a season left and I would like to get a few more W’s this season. Even in a win there are things we can improve upon!
It was a hard fought game. The Browns deserved to win. They lead in almost every facet of the game. You can see the line is missing interior lineman Alex Mack whom they traded to Washington for players and picks because they have really struggled to run the ball, but they could have bigger issues moving forward in stopping the run themselves.
We lost a very promising rookie in this game to a partial groin tear. Even in the win there is some bad. We need to get back to Cleveland and see the extent of his injury. For his sake I hope it isn’t bad. I hope he can heal quickly and help his team win more games. – Coach Scott
