Peyton Manning loaded up on touchdowns this week as he threw 7 TD strikes and led his 49ers to a win over the Rams.

The Sheriff continues to play out of his mind with back to back 7 td passing games. Manning certainly has no problems when coach Nguyen dials up more passing plays. He would finish the day with 351 yards going 19-25 with 7 touchdowns to 0 interceptions. The Rams on the other hand could not get anything going on offense as Sam Bradford struggled all day going 15-30 with 185 yards and o touchdowns to 5 interceptions.

With the win the 49ers improved to a 8-1 record and 3-0 in divisional play. When asked how significant the win was coach Nguyen had this to say, “Its getting to a point in the season when teams are jockeying for playoff position and seeding so a win around this time of the year is very important.

First thing is first and that is to win our division, once we do that then we can start looking on to bigger things.” He would then continue to rave about his starting quarterback. ” I didn’t know Peyton was really this good, I mean some of the throws he makes is just incredible, the velocity, the accuracy, just WOW. Since joining this team he has started 4 games and racked up 1,100 yards passing, 19 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. And that is just 4 games!! Vernon Davis is having a break out season as he leads the league in receiving touchdowns with 16. The biggest thing about Manning is he makes everyone around him better and that’d hard to find these days.”

The 49ers will have a showdown with the Chicago Bears on Primetime Monday Night Football next week.
