With 2:28 left in the the 4th quarter, the Cowboys trailed the Vikings by 11 points, Vikings fullback Jerome Felton scored a touchdown on a 1 yard run that would put the Vikings up by 17. The Cowboys on their next posession would end up turning the ball over and allow the Vikings to score another 3 points, giving the Vikings more then enough to win their first playoff game.

Vikings HB Adrian Peterson had a tremendous game. Peterson rushed for 112 yards on 19 carries, had 2 receptions for 20 yards and one touchdown. “It’s always a good feeling when you can be effective in a big game and nothing bigger right now then this game.” said Peterson after the game.
