Detroit, MI - Josh Jacobs surpassed 100 rushing yards, Kaleb Johnson scored twice and the Green Bay Packers produced 424 offensive yards in a 24-14 victory over the Detroit Lions in Week 7.

Green Bay moved in front and gradually created separation, leaning on a balanced offense that finished with 232 passing yards and 192 rushing yards. Detroit narrowed the margin and remained competitive, but the Packers protected their advantage and closed with a 10-point win.

The Packers finished with 22 first downs and outgained Detroit 424-252. Their most pronounced statistical edge came on the ground, where Green Bay nearly tripled the Lions' 67 rushing yards. Jacobs recorded the game-high with 107 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries, including a game-long 34-yard run. His 18 attempts were also the most by any runner.

Johnson supplied another productive option with 71 yards on eight carries and two touchdowns. Together, Jacobs and Johnson accounted for 178 rushing yards and all three of Green Bay's touchdowns.

"There was a good rhythm to the way we ran it," Jacobs said. "I had opportunities, Kaleb had opportunities, and we both wanted to be productive every time we got the ball. Finishing over 100 is nice, but getting out of here with the win is the part that matters."

Jordan Love completed 20 of 30 passes for a game-high 232 yards and an 89.8 passer rating. He spread much of that production among three receivers: Jayden Reed caught seven passes for a team-high 77 yards, Matthew Golden had six receptions for 75 yards and Christian Watson added three catches for 53 yards. Watson's 25-yard reception was the longest catch of the game.

The varied distribution gave Green Bay steady production without requiring one receiver to dominate the passing game. The Packers reached the red zone four times, recording one touchdown and one field goal on those possessions, and converted 6 of 11 third downs.

"We had different guys contributing, and that's what you want to see," Love said. "The run game was productive, the receivers kept giving us options and we didn't have to force the ball. There are still things we can clean up, especially in the red zone, but 424 yards gives us plenty to build from."

Detroit's best work came through Jared Goff and Amon-Ra St. Brown. Goff went 21 of 36 for 185 yards, two touchdowns and a 90.6 passer rating. St. Brown posted the game-high receiving total with 10 catches for 100 yards and a touchdown, while Sam LaPorta caught the other scoring pass.

St. Brown repeatedly gave Detroit a reliable target, but the Lions did not match Green Bay's overall output. Jahmyr Gibbs led Detroit's rushing attack with 53 yards on 14 carries. The Lions finished with 14 first downs and 252 offensive yards, including 185 through the air.

"We had some stretches where we moved it and finished drives, but the full game wasn't consistent enough," St. Brown said. "Ten catches and 100 yards don't feel the same when you lose. We needed more points, and that's what we'll take away from it."

Detroit converted 9 of 16 third downs and scored touchdowns on two of its three red-zone trips. Its only fourth-down attempt was unsuccessful. Those figures offered some encouraging moments for the Lions, though Green Bay still finished with 172 more offensive yards and eight more first downs.

Both defenses recorded three sacks without an interception. Green Bay's sacks came from Javon Hargrave, Micah Parsons and Lukas Van Ness, while Detroit also reached Love three times. Neither quarterback threw an interception.

The result stopped Green Bay's one-game skid after the Packers entered the week at 3-3. Detroit came in at 3-2 after two consecutive losses, and the defeat extended that slide to three games.
