Baltimore, MD - Derrick Henry rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown, Lamar Jackson threw two scoring passes and the Baltimore Ravens extended their winning streak to four games with a 27-13 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9.

Baltimore entered the game with three consecutive wins and continued its run by producing 407 offensive yards, nearly matching its passing and rushing output. The Ravens finished with 216 yards through the air and 191 on the ground while gradually creating separation from Jacksonville.

Henry supplied the biggest individual performance. He gained his game-high 136 yards on 15 carries, averaging better than nine yards per attempt and breaking a game-long 38-yard run. His touchdown gave Baltimore a rushing score to accompany Jackson’s two touchdown passes.

"There were opportunities to get downhill, and I wanted to make every carry count," Henry said. "When the space was there, I tried to hit it and finish the run. We had a good mix of things working."

Jackson completed 16 of 26 passes for a game-high 216 yards and finished with a 113.6 passer rating. He did not throw an interception, and his longest completion covered 52 yards. Baltimore’s offense reached the red zone four times, coming away with two touchdowns and a field goal on those trips.

The Ravens did not rely solely on explosive production. They registered 17 first downs and converted their only fourth-down attempt. Although Baltimore went 4-for-11 on third down, its balance was evident in the narrow 25-yard difference between its passing and rushing totals.

"We stayed patient and didn’t feel like we had to force the ball into places it shouldn’t go," Jackson said. "The passing game had opportunities, the backs were producing, and we kept working through what was in front of us."

Rashod Bateman was Jackson’s leading target, catching five passes for a game-high 92 yards and a touchdown. His 52-yard reception was the longest catch of the game. Ja’Kobi Lane added four receptions for 28 yards and another touchdown, giving Baltimore multiple options in the scoring column.

Jacksonville struggled to match that production. The Jaguars finished with 220 offensive yards, including only 42 on the ground. Their lone red-zone trip produced a field goal, and they ended the game with 13 first downs.

Quinn Ewers completed 19 of 39 passes for 178 yards and a 61.6 passer rating. He found some success moving the chains, with Jacksonville converting 6 of 16 third downs and one of two fourth-down attempts, but the Jaguars were unable to turn those stretches into enough points to match Baltimore.

Brenton Strange provided Jacksonville’s most productive receiving performance. He caught five passes for a team-high 77 yards, including a 30-yard reception. The Jaguars’ rushing attack was far more limited. LeQuint Allen Jr led the team with 32 yards on 14 carries, with his longest run covering seven yards.

"We never got into the kind of rhythm we needed," Ewers said. "There were completions and some chances to keep moving, but we didn’t sustain enough. Against an offense putting up that kind of yardage, 13 points isn’t where we wanted to finish."

The difference between the running games was stark. Baltimore outgained Jacksonville 191-42 on the ground, with Henry alone surpassing the Jaguars’ team total by 94 yards. That contrast fit the broader shape of a game in which the Ravens built an advantage and increased the distance between the teams rather than depending on a late finish.

Baltimore’s defense also recorded four sacks, compared with one for Jacksonville. Neither team produced an interception. Dennis Gardeck finished with half a sack, forced a fumble and recorded two fumble recoveries for the Jaguars.

Jacksonville had entered the week at 3-4 after winning its previous game, but the loss dropped the Jaguars back below .500. Baltimore, which came in at 5-3, continued in the opposite direction by turning its three-game winning streak into four.

Up Next

The Ravens will remain home in Week 10 to host the Los Angeles Chargers as they look to extend their four-game winning streak. The Jaguars will try to rebound on the road against the Tennessee Titans.
