As we enter the offseason it’s time to take a look at the overhauled free agency system in Madden 15.
In previous Madden games, free agents would usually only consider an offer based on the amount of money being offered by a team. However, in other cases players wouldn’t sign a contract, even if the amount and length of the contract was what they wanted, leading teams to overspending on players or giving up entirely without any justification. In Madden 15, that is no longer the case.
When trying to sign a free agent in the offseason, the player will do a full evaluation of your team before deciding to sign or not. Players will take things like coaches, scheme and team needs into consideration, the player will now make sure to do what’s best for him as far as on the field play goes.
Teams will also find it easier to know why their contract offer was rejected. All of the evaluation factors that a player is thinking about will be shown on screen and you can also see what other teams are bidding for that player’s services.
