MIAMI, FL - The Miami Dolphins continued their strong start to the season, defeating the New England Patriots 34-25 on Sunday to move to 2-0 under head coach Sean Nguyen. Powered by explosive plays from Tyreek Hill and steady quarterbacking from Tua Tagovailoa, Miami built a commanding lead and withstood a late push from rookie quarterback Drake Maye and the Patriots.
Game Recap
Hill set the tone from the opening quarter, repeatedly threatening New England's secondary and finishing the day with two touchdown grabs. Tight end Darren Waller worked the seams to keep chains moving, while Tagovailoa distributed the ball with confidence. On the ground, De'Von Achane churned out efficient yardage and Jaylen Wright punched in a short rushing score to cap a long drive.
New England answered behind Maye's poise and a balanced attack. Veteran wideout Stefon Diggs found the end zone, tight end Hunter Henry made timely catches, and running back Rhamondre Stevenson powered in a rushing touchdown and later added a receiving score. But when the Patriots threatened late, Miami's defense delivered: edge rusher Bradley Chubb notched a crucial sack to help slam the door.
