Cowboys 52, Bears 49: Prescott, Pickens lead Dallas past Chicago in shootout

CHICAGO, IL - In one of the wildest games of the season so far, the Dallas Cowboys outlasted the Chicago Bears 52-49 in a Week 4 barnburner. Both offenses lit up the scoreboard, but Dallas made just enough plays down the stretch to leave Soldier Field with a statement win.

The Bears opened fast behind Caleb Williams, who connected with Colston Loveland for a 28-yard touchdown on the first drive. Moments later, Chicago's Elijah Hicks scooped up a fumble and raced 16 yards for a score, stunning Dallas with an early 14-0 lead.

But the Cowboys responded in kind. George Pickens hauled in a 76-yard bomb from Dak Prescott, and tight end Jake Ferguson added a 17-yard touchdown grab. By halftime, the scoreboard was already blazing at 35-28.

The second half brought more fireworks. Javonte Williams broke free for two rushing touchdowns, while Pickens added a 27-yard score. The Bears countered with a Williams rushing touchdown of their own and a late 44-yard strike from Williams to DJ Moore. But when Cairo Santos' onside kick attempt failed in the closing seconds, Dallas sealed the 52-49 victory.
