Cardinals win again to improve to 4-0

Summary

Tampa, FL. – As one of the first teams to have a 4-0 record this season in 2KOLF, the Arizona Cardinals were flawless against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-2) in Week 4.

Game Ball

Another week without turnovers is always a positive thing for a team, especially at the Quarterback position, and therefore the game ball has to go to Carson Palmer. Palmer threw the ball 18/21 times for 281 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Coach Arians commented on his team at his press conference; “Carson was unbelievable with the ball today… he delivered a perfect passer rating of 158.3  without any turnovers. But the credit has to go to the whole team.. the O-line protecting Carson, Knowshon running to set up play actions, the WRs’ & TEs’ spreading the field out, and the defense for wrecking havoc. Today was definitely a team effort.”

Coach Schiano also mentioned about the Cardinals’ defense, specifically: “Their defense was just too much. We couldn’t give Josh (Freeman) enough time to do what he’s paid to do. We’ll have to fix that ASAP and move on from this loss.”

Key Play

The pick-6 caught & returned  by Jerraud Powers absolutely gave the Arizona Cardinals a momentum boost.

 Noteworthy

  • Entering week 4, there are only 5 undefeated teams. (1 from the AFC and 4 from the NFC)

The Cardinals will face another NFC South opponent, Carolina Panthers, but this time at home in Glendale, Arizona. Will they continue their winning ways and extend their streak to 5-0? Tune in next week and watch!
