For the first time ever, 2K Online Franchise will be broadcasting live this Saturday’s Super Bowl II match-up between the New England Patriots and the San Francisco 49ers. League commissioner Andres Perez and co-commissioner Michael Nguyen made it official today following a successful test on Twitch.tv.
During a press conference commissioner Perez had this to say “I am extremely excited to announce that the rematch between the Patriots and the 49ers will be broadcast nation wide on Twitch.tv. It is a move that we felt right about following the official announcement that Twitch is the official streaming platform of the Playstation 4. Lucky for us we don’t need to wait until the league moves to the Playstation 4 to enjoy the benefits of Twitch.tv.”
