MINNEAPOLIS, MN — In the Week 3 Game of the Week, two undefeated powerhouses collide as the Houston Texans (2-0) travel to take on the Minnesota Vikings (2-0) at U.S. Bank Stadium. Both teams have started the season with impressive performances, but only one can remain unbeaten after this clash.
The Vikings have showcased their offensive firepower early on, leading the league with a staggering 49.5 points per game. Quarterback J.J. The Texans, averaging 33 points per game, will need every bit of Stroud’s arm to keep pace with the Vikings’ explosive offense. Both teams rank near the bottom in pass defense, with Houston allowing 353 passing yards per game (32nd) and Minnesota allowing 225.5 (32nd), making this a potential high-scoring affair.
While the Texans’ passing game remains potent, the team will need contributions from their rushing attack to keep Minnesota’s high-flying offense off the field. Dalton Schultz, who leads Houston with 153 receiving yards, will also need to continue his strong start to keep the Texans moving downfield.
