Jets Stumble as Ravens Soar to Victory in Week 3 Matchup
BALTIMORE, MD — The Baltimore Ravens (2-1) returned to their winning ways in Week 3, dominating the visiting New York Jets (1-2) with a commanding performance that showcased their defensive prowess and offensive efficiency. Baltimore’s 5-0 turnover advantage, including five interceptions, proved insurmountable for the Jets as the Ravens secured the 31-3 victory at M&T Bank Stadium.
“We wanted to make a statement after last week’s loss,” said Ravens head coach John Harbaugh. “Our defense set the tone, and Lamar [Jackson] and the offense capitalized.”
Game Recap
The Ravens controlled the game from the outset, methodically building a lead through precise quarterback play from Lamar Jackson and clutch defensive stops. Jackson threw for three touchdowns, including two deep connections with Danny Gray, who torched the Jets’ secondary for 151 yards and two scores. Tight end Mark Andrews also added a touchdown reception.
The Jets’ offensive struggles were apparent throughout the game. Quarterback Joshua Booth completed just 12 of 37 passes, throwing five interceptions as Baltimore’s secondary wreaked havoc. The lone bright spot for the Jets was tight end Tyler Conklin, who hauled in seven receptions for 70 yards.
Key Stats

Wide receiver Gray led the receiving corps with five catches for 151 yards and two touchdowns, while tight end Andrews chipped in with five receptions for 44 yards and a score. On the ground, running back Derrick Henry carried the ball 20 times for 61 yards.
Defensively, Baltimore was suffocating. Odafe Oweh recorded a sack and an interception, while Sanoussi Kane added a pick-six to his stat sheet. The Ravens’ defense racked up three sacks and five interceptions overall, ensuring the Jets never found their rhythm.
For the Jets, it was a day to forget offensively. Booth struggled mightily, completing only 12 of 37 passes for 126 yards while throwing five interceptions. Running back Breece Hall managed just 26 yards on seven carries. Conklin provided the lone offensive spark for the Jets with 70 receiving yards on seven catches.
