BALTIMORE, MD — The Cincinnati Bengals fell just short in a tightly contested battle against the Baltimore Ravens, losing 30-27 in a game that came down to the final seconds. The Bengals, coming off their first win of the season, fought hard to overcome Baltimore’s early lead but ultimately fell victim to a game-winning 50-yard field goal from Justin Tucker as time expired. The Ravens extended their winning streak to three games and now sit at 4-1, while Cincinnati drops to 1-4 on the season.
Game Recap
The Bengals opened the game with an early 10-7 lead after a first-quarter 61-yard field goal by Evan McPherson. However, Baltimore took control in the second quarter as Lamar Jackson connected with Danny Gray for a 52-yard touchdown, and Tucker added two field goals to put the Ravens up 19-13 at halftime.
The defenses tightened in the third quarter, with Baltimore forcing a safety on Joe Burrow, while Tucker drilled a 61-yard field goal to extend the Ravens’ lead to 24-13.
Cincinnati mounted a fierce comeback in the fourth quarter. Burrow found Charlie Jones for a 20-yard touchdown, cutting the deficit to 24-19. After another Tucker field goal, Tim Tate punched in a 3-yard touchdown run, followed by a successful two-point conversion by Mike Gesicki, tying the game at 27-27 with just over a minute remaining.
However, with time winding down, Jackson led the Ravens into field-goal range, setting up Tucker’s game-winning 50-yard kick as time expired, sealing Baltimore’s dramatic 30-27 victory.

Joe Burrow completed 25 of 33 passes for 277 yards, throwing two touchdowns with no interceptions, but was sacked five times. Lamar Jackson led the Ravens’ offense with 304 passing yards and one touchdown, completing an impressive 73.8% of his passes. Danny Gray was Jackson’s top target, hauling in 13 receptions for 139 yards, including a 52-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
On the Bengals’ side, Charlie Jones and Mike Gesicki combined for nine receptions, 124 yards, and a touchdown, while Tim Tate added a crucial rushing touchdown late in the game. Evan McPherson showcased his powerful leg, converting a 61-yard field goal in the first quarter.
