SEATTLE, WA — Two weeks after getting blown out on the road the Seattle Seahawks got a chance to redeem themselves against the San Francisco 49ers and they not only did so in impressive fashion they also sent a message to the rest of the league…the champions are back to form!
It was over when:
The game was close until the 3rd quarter. With 4:34 left in the 3rd and trailing 6-10, 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick ran a play action play, tried to get the ball down the field but was intercepted by Seahawks SS Kam Chancellor. The Seahawks took full advantage of the turnover and would score a touchdown in just 7 plays. The touchdown changed the game plan for the 49ers, forcing them to try and move the ball over the air. It was simply too much for the 49ers to overcome on this night.
The win moves the Seahawks back into first place in the division and in NFC standings.
