OAKLAND, CA — The Oakland Raiders look like a team of destiny after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 0-28 and advancing to the divisional round.
With just over 5 minutes left in 3rd quarter, the Raiders added to their 21 point lead when quarterback Matt McGloin threw a 27 yard pass to wide receiver Rod Streater. Streater was able to wrestle the ball away from Chiefs free safety Husain Abdullah to give the Raiders their 4th touchdown of the game and a twenty seven to zero lead. The Chiefs had just two more drives after the touchdown, while the Raiders masterfully chewed the clock in their final drive of the game to seal the deal and move on to the divisional round for the fifth straight season.
