In a game where most of the stats favored Jacksonville at the end, more rushing yards and more first downs, there were two stats that helped lead the Colts to a victory. 4 INTs and completely controlling the clock by over 9 minutes. This win gives the Colts some revenge for the 51-44 loss during week 3.
Coach Jellison had some thoughts after the game: “After coming off of two straight loses, we needed a win. It may not have been pretty but I’ll take an ugly win over a division rival any day”.
Ramses Barden caught 2 TD’s from Andrew Luck who threw for 125 yards in a winning effort. Jerraud Powers sealed the game with his second interception late in the fourth quarter. This win keeps the slim playoff chances of the Colts alive as they move to 5-4 as they head to Foxboro to take on the undefeated Patriots next week.
