Baltimore, MD — The Baltimore Ravens return a lot of key starters from last year’s 13-3 team most of them being younger players.  The team had a lot of success last year but fell short in the AFC Championship game to the eventual champion Los Angeles Chargers. Coach Rashaan Benson told us that, “I feel like younger guys like Lamar Jackson and Marquise Brown and Marlon Humphrey will only learn from that. That game taught us we need to be working harder to get to our eventual goal of winning a Super Bowl”.

The Ravens have a lot of newcomers as well names such as veterans WR Nelson Agholor, TE Delanie Walker, LE Calais Campbell, and top 5 pick MLB Leonard Clayborn. The Ravens will be looking for Clayborn to have a great season as he is added to a linebacking core that needed a boost. He will be asked to do a lot this season and he insists that he is ready for the pressure and ready to get rolling with his new team.

The Ravens will also depend upon veteran Campbell to help the pass rush along with Frank Clark. Coach Benson is hoping his defensive line is going to be dominant this year and will provide the defense with a big boost.  They will miss Mark Ingram‘s presence, and the running game will have to step it up so that the offense can remain a force.

Coach Rashaan Benson is expecting a lot of his team and we will see how his team responds.
